Thank you for your interest in our educational program. It is our desire that your life and ministry will be blessed by the materials that we offer.
Many have expressed their desire to be a part of a formal educational process through which degrees can be earned without having to leave one's job, family or home church. GBI offers this flexibility through distance training at a very low cost.
The training we offer is very practical and prepares each student to be an effective church worker, minister or Bible teacher, depending upon the level completed. All of the requirements can be fulfilled under the supervision of the local pastor or supervisor without leaving the home church.
Using the foundation and experience of more than two decades of publishing the Christian Worker Bible Study Series, Global Bible Institute was established. GBI is under the doctrinal and spiritual covering of Global Youth Evangelism and is affiliated with the Living Light Foundation of Burlington, Iowa for accreditation purposes.
The accreditation of GBI by the Living Light Christian Accrediting Association allows for the granting of theological degrees in Biblical Studies. Our theological degrees are generally recognized by religious institutions and are not secular in nature; the acceptance of our degrees by other organizations or institutions will vary and is dependent upon the requirements of each organization.
Students who have completed or are working on the Christian Worker Bible Study Series may receive postsecondary credit by enrolling in Global Bible Institute and completing all course work and assignments as outlined in the GBI catalog. (Click here to view the GBI Catalog). Also, hard copies are available for a donation of $5.00 each.
Anyone desiring to enroll in GBI should submit a $15.00 application fee (non refundable) along with a request for an application packet. After your completed application and associated materials are returned to GBI, the student will be notified by GBI upon acceptance. Entry level into GBI, or previously earned credits from other colleges and institutions, cannot be properly assigned by the registrar until completed applications have been reviewed. Application procedures require that transcripts should be sent directly to our office from the educational institution where the credits were earned. Also, it should be noted that not more than one third of the required credits for any degree awarded by Global Bible Institute can be transferred from other colleges or institutions.
